Hi, I’m Daren Patrick, I am the Pastor of Crossroads Community Church of Marietta. I am a native Georgian, born in Valdosta Georgia. I am the youngest of three children by Jeraldine Wright and Willie Patrick Sr. I was introduced to Christianity during the early years of his life by my mother. However, it wasn’t until age 18 that I came to a true understanding of the meaning of salvation.
I had the privilege to enlist and serve in the United States Air Force for 6 years after high school. In 1988, God gave me the courage to enter college full time and in the summer of 1990 I had finished my B.S. degree from Texas State University. I later completed a M.A. Degree in New Testament Studies and church history from St. Mary’s University San Antonio TX.
I met my wife Ms. Leslie Blenman and we were married in April 1991. I am the father of our three children, Savannah, Shelby and Daren Myles.
I had the privilege to serve under two dynamic church leadership teams head by Bishop David Copeland and Pastor Claudette Copeland of New Creation Christian Fellowship for 16 years and Pastor Keith Graham of Now Word Covenant Church (10 years) also of San Antonio TX.
After faithfully and diligently serving these ministries, God led me to start a new church in Marietta, Georgia. It took 2 years of reasoning with God that finally gave in and said yes to God’s will for me and my family. After 26 years of living and serving in Texas, in June of 2010 my family and I moved from San Antonio TX to the Marietta area to open a starter church called CrossRoads Community Church.
